A positive initiative aiming for a healthy city, The Hyderabad 10K Run Foundation has been organizing the Hyderabad 10K Run event from 2003. The event has been an interest among various socialites in Hyderabad. The Foundation is a 'Not for Profit' organization formed to achieve human wellbeing, fitness, wellness, healthy lifestyle of all in the city irrespective of age, profession and status. From its inception in 2003, it has been successful in conducting the event every year, effectively becoming champions in the event of this sort. It has been successful in amassing the crowd and promoting health and wellness.
The Foundation collects fees for various run categories, and the fees collected is utilized for promoting sports and games for underprivileged.
ELITE 10K: I INR 1000 (Men should have run a 10K in less than 35 minutes in the last 1 year & Women should have run a 10K in less than 40 minutes in the last 1 year)
OPEN 10K with Timing chip: INR 1000 includes Goodie Bag with Bib and T-shirt, Timing Chip
OPEN 5K: INR 750 includes Goodie Bag with Bib and T-shirt (No Timing Chip)
The participants have to follow certain rules and regulations which are given in the Foundation's website. They are required to know these details prior to the participation in the 10K Run.
For the first time The Hyderabad 10K Run Foundation is conducting an expo on "Health and Fitness" that aims to give leverage to the 10K Run. The event will witness participation from many companies showcasing the benefits of healthy lifestyle. All participants interested in the 10K Run, have to attend the expo in order to register and collect their Run kit. The Expo will happen one day prior to the 10K Run. The timing for collecting the Run Kit is from10:30 am to 6:00 pm on the 23rd of November.
The reporting time for 10K Run happening on 24th of November is 5.15am
